IMO Chad came in at the wrong time the econmy was starting to go south and kept continuing going south,not saying he could have done a few things different to try to keep the track running,but it may have been too late then.

I know when I talked to Chad a few days before he was going to announce the track was shutting downing,he said it was one of the hardest things he ever had to do.

And give Chad props he did go to the PRI in Orlando 2 years in a row and worked folks trying to get things for Midway.

And still consider Chad a good friend and wish him well down the road

Chad was always a straight shooter with me, and he put more money into Midway than most of us could dream of, all in trying to make the place better for the racers and fans.

I hope that whatever the future holds for Chad, he enjoys success.

Crooksville has provided some great racing for such a long time, it's a shame that it sits idle. It's just a sign of the times. In better days this area will support two tracks. No one here's to blame!
